2008 Meeting Information
Greetings,
Please mark on your calendar April 14-15 for the CSCO 2008 annual
meeting in Chicago!
The 2008 Christians Supporting Community Organizing annual meeting
will
be held in conjunction with Congress on Urban Ministry, sponsored by
SCUPE (Seminary Consortium for Urban Pastoral Education). It
will be
meeting in Chicago, at the Fourth Presbyterian Church, on April
15-18.
Christians Supporting Community Organizing will have our own annual
meeting right before the SCUPE Congress. We will begin on
Monday
evening April 14 and continue on Tuesday, April 15, before the
SCUPE
Congress begins. There will be one or more CSCO
workshops held in
conjunction with SCUPE, reaching out to that constituency. We
are
undecided whether to have them pre-conference in relationship with
SCUPE or during the SCUPE meeting.
We will look into holding our own meeting again at the Cenacle
Retreat
House, a little ways further north in Chicago, and staying there
during
the SCUPE meeting.
Please maintain the priority that you give to CSCO by reserving
those
dates, April 14-15!
